- Visit the Ballarat Visitor Information Centre at the Ballarat Town Hall (225 Sturt St). The centre is open weekdays 8.30am–5pm plus weekends and public holidays 10am–4pm (except Christmas Day)
- Visit the Ballarat Botanical Gardens Information Centre (401–405 Wendouree Pde, Lake Wendouree). The centre is open 11am–4pm daily (except Christmas Day)

- Acknowledgement of Country Mural by First Nations artist Deanne Gilson. Titled Mundi-gurrk and Wurring, wurring Family Gathering by the Biyal, the mural consists of 20 paintings by the Wadawurrung artist which have been printed across 220 metres of vinyl
- The Made of: Ballarat shop, which showcases the region's incredible artisans and producers
- Free visitor parking (including limited caravan/large vehicle spaces in Bath Lane)
