Maze House is open every day in the Winter School Holidays.

Rug up and get lost in this 33 year old maze. Find all the clues in the special Winter Maze Hunt to win a prize.

After navigating the maze, test your skills playing original old-time carnival games that are dotted throughout the country garden. These include Return Bowling which is a humorous take on ten pin bowling and the very popular Knock 'Em Down target practice game (with tennis balls, not bullets).

A steady hand is required for the Amazing Buzz Test, where not touching the wire with your wand will bring success. The Wind Up Horse Racing game allows you to compete to see who has the fastest horse.

Its also fun to have a country cricket game or take a selfie in the Queen of Hearts Castle. Play these and many more games like Underarm Toss, Spin the Destination Wheel, Hooky, Frisbee Toss and Poker Darts.

Maze house is a popular tourist attraction with unique activities for kids, families, groups and anyone that loves a bit of competition. Near Daylesford, Ballarat and an hour and a half drive from Melbourne.

Bookings are advised on their website.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
