A celebration of resilience, a hymn to the unwavering power of the human spirit, a poetic whisper that echoes into eternity.

Experience a mesmerising night of art rock, spoken word, and experimental sound as Danielle Whalebone presents Whispers of Shadows an immersive live performance that blends music, projections, and emotion into a powerful multi-sensory journey.

Exploring themes of isolation, longing, and resilience, Whalebone and noise guitarist Francesco Manuse create a soundscape that moves between ethereal stillness and volcanic intensity. Their performance combines feedback-laden guitar textures, bowed strings, and shifting psychedelic projections, transforming the stage into a living, breathing canvas of sound and light.

Merging the epic crescendos of post-rock with the raw spontaneity of improvisation, Whispers of Shadows invites audiences to step beyond the ordinary into a space where art, sound, and emotion converge.

Don't miss this unforgettable live performance a hypnotic fusion of music, light, and poetic storytelling that resonates long after the final note fades.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
