Come and raise a glass, share a meal, and celebrate the timeless connection between vineyard and wine maker. Where passions meet and every pour tells a story.

Bubbles - At Mt Coghill Vineyard, every bottle of sparkling tells a tale.

Barrels - Wines by the "Happy Winemaker," Jean Paul Trijsburg, whose enthusiasm and artistry shine through in every drop. He will guide you through his wines.

Mt Coghill invites you to take a seat at the table as Vigneron and Winemaker share the journey of their wines, from grape to glass.

Together, you'll explore the art of Champagne's la méthode traditionnelle, discover how time, terroir, and tradition combine to create wines that are both expressive and elegant.

Throughout the afternoon, you'll dive into the history and story behind champagne in France and Australian sparkling wine and the history and story behind each grape variety used in the wines served by Jean Paul. This is your chance to ask questions, share stories, and gain a deeper understanding of the craft that unites vigneron and winemaker.

The experience includes five-course menu including canapes, entrée, main, dessert and cheese/fruit along with wine tasting or wine pairing.

Additional drinks including wines, beer, cider, sparkling water and soft drinks available.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
