Ready for an off road adventure?

It’s time to load up on carbs, what better way to start at the Webster street cafe. From there we are heading straight out of town, past the Arch of Victory before taking a left onto the Skipton Rail Trail.

Immerse yourself in the serenity of Australia’s native flora and fauna at the Ballarat-Skipton Rail Trail. Leave behind the stresses of your day as you meander through the wide open grasslands, eucalypt forests, historic bridges and quaint 19th century villages.

There are plenty of great places to stop along the way and birdwatch or take a picnic with you and take full advantage of alfresco dining.

You will be well rewarded on this epic journey and its time to treat yourself with hot or cold drink at the Yacht Club!

The City of Ballarat acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land we live and work on, the Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung People, and recognises their continuing connection to the land and waterways. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
