Bespoke hot-off-the-press poems, written while you wait, delivered aurally.

Megan J Riedl, your friendly neighbourhood wordsmith, has set up a surreal office space in the changing room of TBH Studios.

Experience quick-fire wordsmithery as Megan whips up a brand-new poem using your chosen words, then administers it to you in an intimate one-on-one spoken word performance. You'll take home a print-out of your poem to follow-up with at your leisure.

Book your appointment for a medicinal shot of spoken word.

This is a development testing of a new participatory live arts work by Megan J Riedl. Participants are invited to be the first to experience the work and give feedback to the artist. Participants are advised that the artist will be documenting the work and they will be asked permission for the artist to use their image for future promotional purposes.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
