The Wanderers Theatre are hosting their first-ever Gala Night.

After a fabulous season of shows last year, with two successful productions, A Midsummer Night's Dream: An Immersive, Site-Specific Theatre Experience and Vinegar Tom, it is time to celebrate and look ahead.

Join Wanderers Theatre to celebrate their 2025 season, find out more about their company, and be the first to hear their plans for 2026. The night will include live music and performances, free nibbles, drinks at the bar, their 2026 show announcements and much more.

This Gala will be an opportunity to meet other Ballarat-based creatives, learn how to get involved with The Wanderers Theatre, and, most importantly, all profits made will go towards funding their upcoming show and allow them to continue making independent theatre more accessible to Ballarat audiences and creatives.

Whether you're connecting with the Wanderers Theatre for the first time or are a Wanderers veteran, they look forward to seeing you there. Cheers to dancing the night away in the name of independent theatre.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.

©️ 2026 Visit Ballarat. This initiative is funded by the City of Ballarat and Tourism Midwest Victoria.
