Ballarat Roller Derby League is excited to present their inaugural 'Skating with Pride Fun Skate' event, creating a safe inclusive space for everyone to enjoy roller skating.
The Fun Skate is a chance for anyone over the age of 6 to dress up in their best rainbow outfit, get on wheels and experience the fun of skating. All skates and protective gear is provided at no extra cost, and skaters are also welcome to bring their own. The session will start with a quick introduction to skating, including stopping and falling safely for those that would like it, otherwise you are good to get on skates and enjoy the great tunes.
A bake sale with a range of sweet and savoury options will be running throughout the session, with vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options available.
The Fun Skate is open to all genders and anyone over the age of 6 (with parental consent for under 18's) with ticket sale proceeds being donated to Minus18.
