Take your pick from more than 35 savoury and sweet pies at some of the city’s top cafes, restaurants and bakeries.
On the menu at Lydiard General is peach & Portuguese custard pie.
Think delicious warm custard and poached peaches enveloped by sweet and buttery shortcrust pastry and finished with a light dusting of icing sugar.
"With a cult following, our Portuguese tarts sell out as soon as they hit the counter," chef Kristin Jenkin said.
"It was this staple of our kitchen that we thought would make an incredibly irresistible pie."
