The 'My Australia Art Exhibition', is an event designed for free expression and story telling through art.

Here, artists explore a diverse range of mediums encompassing traditional forms as well as more contemporary approaches like collage, digital art or assemblage, to name a few. Poets, actors, musicians and a special section for military art is also catered for.

Patrons can take a journey of imagination through the many art works and can even purchase original art. Vote for the 'People's Choice' Art Award. Enter a raffle and win some fantastic prizes. Taste one or maybe two, of arguably the best sausage sizzles ever, while enjoying a complimentary tea or coffee.

You may even like to check out the clubs activities and meet new acquaintances.

Through the generosity of the 'Ballarat South Senior Citizens Club', artists can share in a fantastic public space to showcase their art, at no cost, and where the public can view the works for free.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
