Critically acclaimed Australian-American jazz vocalist and composer, Chris McNulty, will perform at Chisholm St with esteemed jazz bassist, Ben Robertson, and Miro Lauritz, Melbourne's rising star on the piano. Chris McNulty is one of the unique modern vocal jazz artists of her generation who also composes. Her warm, soulful tones and liquid phrasing meld seamlessly across a wide range of styles and idioms. Acclaimed by critics for her emotive delivery, storytelling gifts and technical mastery, McNulty's effortless synergy with fellow musicians has been captivating audiences worldwide for decades. McNulty became a fixture on the New York jazz scene after moving to the US in 1988. She relocated back to Australia in 2016 after three decades performing and touring the world.

This is your chance to hear her in an intimate setting, but be quick as seating is limited. Bookings are only available online and the address is given upon purchase of a ticket.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
