After attracting a sellout crowd last year, the Ballarat Rodeo returns to Ballarat Showgrounds as part of the Ringers Western Stampede Series, presented by National Rodeo Co.

Get ready for a massive day and night of adrenaline-fuelled rodeo action, live entertainment and the very best of country culture.

Inside the arena, some of Australia's leading cowboys and cowgirls will battle it out across a thrilling program of bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback and barrel racing, with prize money and valuable Ringers Western Stampede Series points on the line.

But the action doesn't stop at the arena. The event precinct will come alive with live bands, DJs, line dancing, rodeo runway, amusement rides, market stalls, great food, cold drinks and a few surprises throughout the night.

The legendary band, Velvet Archers, will also take to the stage bringing a huge dose of live country music to the evening.

Whether you're country at heart, cowboy-curious for the night, bringing the whole family or simply looking for an unforgettable night out with your mates, the Ballarat Rodeo has something for everyone.

The event includes live music, market stalls, bars, food, amusements and entertainment. Rodeo action commences in the evening.

Grab your boots, round up your crew and don't miss the Ballarat Rodeo.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
