Hide + Seek Presents: 3 days of music and storytelling in Moorabool

Better off said

Hide + Seek Presents is a series of music, storytelling and literary experiences taking place across the towns of Bacchus Marsh, Ballan and Blackwood throughout November.

Featuring acclaimed touring artists alongside local creatives, it is an opportunity for people of all ages to connect, create and be inspired.

All three of these high-quality creative presentations are being hosted by towns in the Moorabool region, between Melbourne and Ballarat.

Ballan and Bacchus Marsh are also accessible by V/Line train from Southern Cross Station (with fares half price until the end of the year).

Get out of the city for the day and take a mini creative break in this thriving green belt which is full of great bakeries, country pubs and scenic walks. November is the start of fruit-picking season, so be sure to grab some fresh cherries on the way.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.

©️ 2026 Visit Ballarat. This initiative is funded by the City of Ballarat and Tourism Midwest Victoria.
