PNL 4WDriving Basic Introduction to 4WD is a one day non-accredited course designed to provide participants with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to operate a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle on unsealed roads.

It includes specialised driving techniques, instruction on obstacles and bush driving with practice, theory and a great experience. With the opportunity to extend to a second day with accreditation.

PNL 4WDriving give you the opportunity to ask questions and learning is held in an easy going and informative environment.

The focus is on driving safely on graded and formed dirt roads with slight to moderate inclines. Ideal for beginners or those new to off-road driving looking to build a solid foundation before progressing to more advanced training.

Morning/ Afternoon tea provided – tea, coffee, fruit, sweet biscuits, water and juice
Catered Lunch is available for $30 per meal. Please specify dietary requirements. Bring your own if preferred.

Days of operation:

  • The Basic one day course go ahead in all weather conditions and are scheduled year round.

  • PNL 4WDriving offers a variety of other training courses associated with 4WDriving. If you have been unable to find what you require please contact them to discuss.

Tour highlights:

  • Enfield State Park: The area is a haven for wild life. Best time to visit the park is in spring, be rewarded by colourful and unusual wildflowers.
  • Enfield State Park: Look out for the rare Enfield Grevillea.
  • Enfield State Park: Investigate historical 1850s goldmining areas.
  • Enfield State Park: Free camping is allowed onsite. With showers and toilets available.
