Sovereign Hill's Winter Wonderlights
4-27 July
Celebrate the magic of Sovereign Hill's Winter Wonderlights.
By day, enjoy the attraction's classic experiences – hop on a coach ride, try your hand at gold panning and more.
Then, as night falls, Sovereign Hill's streets will come alive with stunning light projections, music, faux snow, blazing fires and wintry treats.
Pop-up ice rink
5-27 July
Get your skates on at Ballarat's pop-up ice skating rink in Armstrong St Sth (between the Town Hall and Myer).
Throughout the festival, there will also be special disco-themed nights plus learn to skate, sensory and family-friendly sessions.
And spend $25 or more at participating Ballarat eateries and attractions to receive 15% off your ice rink tickets.

Ballarat's Hot Choc Showdown
5-27 July
Indulge your senses with Ballarat’s most deliciously sweet adventure.
Follow your tastebuds and sip your way across the city during Ballarat's Hot Choc Showdown.
Over 25 of the city's top cafes and restaurants have stirred up their most decadent, creative and comforting hot chocolates for you to discover.
And there's even some adults-only alcoholic versions in the mix!

Ukiyo Spiegletent
5-20 July
Introducing the Ukiyo Spiegeltent, which takes its name from the Japanese word meaning 'the floating world'.
This vibrant hub in Sturt St will host a range of family-friendly performances across the festival, including:
- Dr Hubble's Bubbles – an enchanting journey into the world of bubbles featuring giant, square and even ‘explodabubbles’
- All You Need Is Love – a captivating romantic comedy blending acrobatics, hula hoops and clowning
- The Great Dave – a master juggler who defies gravity, ending his show juggling on a two-metre unicycle while making tea!
Kryal Castle's Knights of Fire
5-20 July
Experience the thrill of a medieval winter at Kryal Castle's Knights of Fire, complete with fiery feats, wizards, knights and snow queens.
You'll also have the chance to craft magical potions and learn the art of sword fighting.
The Design Exchange Winter Market
5-6 July
Uncover unique creations from independent designers, artists and creators at The Design Exchange Winter Market.
It’s the perfect opportunity to find something special for yourself and unique gifts for others while supporting local talent.
The two-day event will also incorporate The Big Thrift Market Ballarat – a treasure trove of pre-loved clothes, shoes, jewellery, homewares and more.
