With over 86,000 residents in Ballarat the city is surprisingly easy to get around. There is ample parking in the shopping areas with one multi storey car park, spaces for many cars outside the major supermarkets as well as plentiful street parking.
A local bus service operates daily and the Ballarat Train Station is situated right in the heart of the city.
The Ballarat Visitor Information Centre, a short walk from the Station, can offer advice on walking tours, nearby sights and transportation options.
