A day of sensational wine, delicious food, local produce and live entertainment, the Pyrenees Unearthed Wine and Food Festival promises a brilliant day out for all ages. Held along the banks of the Avoca River, patrons can sample a broad range of wines from over 25 Pyrenees and Grampians wineries with local beer, cider and gin also available.

For non-drinkers, the selection of local food and produce on offer will enable guests to sample a diverse range of Western Victoria’s flavours and live music will entertain guests throughout the day.

While the tastings on offer will showcase many sought after trophy-winning wines, the Wine Auction held throughout the afternoon provides the opportunity to secure some rare and valuable vintages.

The Pyrenees Unearthed Festival is also a family-friendly event, with free children’s activities and return buses to the event are available from Maryborough and Ballarat.

Get together with friends and family, dust off your picnic rug, pack a sun hat and join in for an unmissable afternoon in the Pyrenees.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities.

These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years.

As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
