No Lights, No Lycra Ballarat – Special Frolic Edition

Come warm up for Ballarat Frolic Festival at a special No Lights, No Lycra Ballarat and meet your Frolic BFF before BFF officially kicks off.

Never been to No Lights, No Lycra Ballarat? NLNL is a global dance community providing an inclusive and non-judgmental place for people to explore this notion. NLNL brings people together to experience freedom of self-expression and joy. There is no light, no lycra, no teacher, no steps to learn, and no technique. NLNL is a place to completely be yourself.

NLNL will be playing a special queer classics playlist for us to dance in the (almost) dark.

We’ll be meeting outside the the Victorian Railways Institute Hall from 7:45pm. Dress up in something you feel comfortable dancing in, and feel free to wear something rainbow so we know you’re with us.

Doors close at 8:00pm sharp. Dancing goes for one hour. This is an all ages event – from the young to the young at heart. $8.00 entry on the door. Cash only. No EFTPOS facilities are available.

The Frolic Festival is an annual pride celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQA+) regional arts and culture – all are welcome.
