Music Under the Night Sky-Earth Hour

6:30-8:30pm – Come along and enjoy the music of Ballarat SKA Union Band

Ballarat Ska Union features Stella Savy, Bryn Hills wailing on trombone, Mick Timcke, John “JD” Davey and Scott Mangos rounding out the horn section. Mr Wayne Parker on guitar and Barry Deenick, Geoff Hassall and Andrew “Vinnie” Vincent form the backbone of a super-tight rhythm section. With musicians seasoned by illustrious bands such as Bomba, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Los Locos, Brother Popcorn, Busta Mento, The Boxing Tostados, The Big Fat Skank and Insectgirl, What could go wrong?

Bring a rug or two, chair, umbrella if you can’t fit under the tent, just in case the cold/rain crowds the event. An open fire if the temperature is dropping. Activities for children. Warm refreshments available. BYO Picnic. Alcohol free event.

Restricted parking onsite or more space on Cobden or Magpie Streets.

8:30-9:30pm Viewing at the Telescopes and / or 3D movies

Inside each building has Covid limits so you can take your turn. Plenty of opportunities for all. Several Telescopes will be in operation.
