For the first time since 2019, AFL is returning to Ballarat with the Western Bulldogs taking on the Brisbane Lions at Mars Stadium on Saturday 10 April at 1.35pm.
The Western Bulldogs’ Ballarat Membership is currently the best way to guarantee a ticket to the round four game, as club members will get priority over the general public.
From 6-9 April, Ballarat’s Western Bulldogs Shop (214 Mair Street) will be open 10am and 4pm daily to assist with any membership, ticketing or merchandise enquiries.
The shop will not be open on match day, with the club operating out of Mars Stadium (725 Creswick Road, Ballarat) that day.
As of 23 March, a total of 8335 fans are allowed at the game – 75 per cent of the stadium’s capacity. Gates will open at 11.45am.
Regular V/Line trains will be operating at full capacity on match day, with no additional services.
From 11.30am, a shuttle bus service will transport people from the Ballarat Train Station’s bus terminal to Mars Stadium.
From 3pm, a return shuttle bus service will depart Mars Stadium and drop passengers off in Sturt Street opposite the Ballarat Town Hall plus Lydiard Street North opposite the train station.
Buses are expected to operate until all patrons have left the ground (approximately 5.30pm).
