The event will be held down Ballarat’s iconic Hop Lane as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival Regional World’s Longest Lunch.
Get set to immerse yourself by exposed bricks of the past and the iconic laneway installations of the present as you indulge in a degustation menu hero’d by local ingredients fresh from the paddocks, patches and vines. Participating eateries include the city’s most esteemed venues:
– The Pub with Two Names
– Moon and Mountain
– Peter Ford
– The George Hotel
– The Forge Pizzeria
Ballarat is in the heart of the great wine regions of Western and Central Victoria and also a hub for craft beer excellence. The degustation menu will be carefully matched by local experts John Harris of Mitchell Harris Wines and Zac Hill of Hop Temple.
Now entering its 26th year, the MFWF is an internationally acclaimed festival, dispersing crowds throughout the state’s regional centres in celebration of each city’s unique flavour.
