We’ve got a perfect way for you to venture through the Pyrenees Wine Region’s Halliday Wine Companion wineries.

Golden Nugget Discovery Tours is the only Victorian wine tour operator to be listed in the Halliday Wine Companion Wine Regions of Victoria list, conducting small-group personalised wine tours, Cellar Door tastings and restaurant experiences across the Pyrenees region.

Golden Nugget has been at the forefront of wine tourism in the Pyrenees since 2007, and owner Andrew Grant said the region’s award-winning offerings were a natural fit for the discovery tours.

He said the Pyrenees Wine Tour showcased James Halliday listed wineries, including the region’s many 5 red star-rated wineries.

“With more than 800 wineries and over 600 cellar doors, Victoria is a wine lover’s playground,” Andrew says.

“When I was approached many years ago to do wine tours, I knew the Pyrenees wineries were very good and quite close to Ballarat and a natural fit to my tour products.

“On tour, you’ll be able to taste premium wines and fabulous food, while enjoying the magnificent views of the Pyrenees Ranges, without the worry of having to drive.”

Golden Nugget’s Pyrenees Wine Tour also features a Pyrenees Exceptionnelles option for the more discerning guest, offering a degustation lunch as well as a two-day Eco Wine and Wildlife tour.

“From household name wineries to boutique producers that fly under the radar, Victoria’s diverse wine scene offers incredible hands on experiences and infinite bottles to discover,” Andrew says.

Golden Nugget Discovery Tours also operates tours of Ballarat, the Goldfields region, the Grampians, Great Ocean Road, as well as Daylesford & Spa Country. With a five-star rating by TripAdvisor and Google, it’s a one-stop tour shop.
