Summer at Sovereign Hill just got even better

Summer at Sovereign Hill just got even better!

The tourist attraction has opened seven days a week. Some of the much-loved activities and attractions set to return for the first time since March this year include the quartz mine tours, the bowling alley plus 1850s-style portraits in the Red Hill Photography Rooms.

“Sovereign Hill is such a great place to visit with kids, friends and families. There’s gold in the creek, characters performing in the street, lollies are being made, there is enthusiasm in the air – now is the best time to come and visit,” Sovereign Hill deputy CEO Katrina Nitschke said.

Tickets remain at the reduced price of adult $39, concession $32, child (5-15 years) $20, family (two adults and up to four children) $99, and single parent family (one adult and up to three children) $71. Children under five years are free.

Visitors are only required to wear a mask on mine tours or if they are unable to maintain physical distancing (eg. while in queues, watching the gold pour, inside the Hope Bakery or inside Brown’s Confectionery).

Please be ready to make on-site payments using a contactless bank card (rather than cash).
