The Pyrenees will host several events in October and November in celebration of the food and wine of the region. Here are our top picks:
Join the Summerfield family and team for their half–yearly Paella event. Bring a chair, have a glass of wine or cheese platter and enjoy the picturesque backdrop of the Pyrenees ranges. This year, the event will feature one of Victoria’s best jazz bands The Maryborough Jazz Ensemble to further enhance the day’s mood!
Nestled up in the spectacular surrounds of the Pyrenees Ranges, Warrenmang 5-star Winery & Resort is preparing to reopen with a fresh new look. The 85-seat restaurant, wine bar, cellar door and function room revamp will retain its timber bones and feature a day spa overlooking the vines, restructured cabins and ski-like chalets, and a newly-installed bottling line in the winery.
Be entertained, dance the day away and experience true country racing at the iconic Blue Pyrenees Estate Avoca Cup. A day to focus on fun with friends, the Avoca Cup kicks the Spring Racing Carnival into gear. Held on Caulfield Cup Day, there are plenty of reasons to party with live bands, kids’ activities, big screen viewing plus camping at the racecourse for $15 per site per night.
Lose yourself in the history of this grand Victorian estate as you turn back time and experience Mount Mitchell through estate tours, character recreations and the chance to dine in true Aristocrat style.
