A Melbourne-founded company offering unique ways to experience more than 50 cities around the world has arrived in Ballarat.

To date, AmazingCo has delivered more than 40,000 experiences to over 1 million people.

The company’s hero Ballarat product is the Mystery Picnic – a self-guided food and adventure experience with a difference.

Using your smartphone to solve clues and riddles, your journey will take you to local artisan producers where you’ll collect delicious picnic ingredients, ending at a stunning secret picnic spot where you’ll enjoy your food.

Different variations are available for friends, families and couples.

“In a time when digital addiction is leading to a lack of human connection, we embrace the best of technology to make your real-world experiences even better and full of moments of connection,” AmazingCo co-founder Nick Brozovic said.

“The Mystery Picnic experience is a great way to support local economies, with each experience delivered by a series of local producers. Enjoying this experience is putting money back into the pockets of local small businesses, something even more important during recent events.”

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities.

These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years.

As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
