Sample 20 of the region’s top wineries under the one roof

The Red Series will bring together the best wineries from the Pyrenees and Grampians regions in the heart of Ballarat.

On Saturday, July 27, between 1pm and 6pm, 20 wineries from the Pyrenees and Grampians regions will feature their best reds, along with other varietals, all within the ambient Ballarat Mining Exchange.

As part of the Ballarat Winter Festival, guests will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of wine tastings, music and entertainment, plus the opportunity to buy local wines direct from the winemakers along with food and produce.

Ten wineries will be showcased from each region:

Pyrenees region

  • Dalwhinnie Wines
  • Summerfield Winery
  • Glenlofty Estate Wines
  • Amherst Winery
  • Sally’s Paddock

Grampians region

  • Grampians Estate
  • Clarnette & Ludvigsen Wines
  • Seppelt Wines
  • Mount Langi Ghiran Vineyard
  • A.T Richardson Wines
  • Montara Wines
  • Pomonal Estate
  • Mountainside Wines
  • Fallen Giants Vineyard
  • Best’s Wines

“The Red Series is a wonderful opportunity for our local wineries, large and small, to come together in one central location for an afternoon of enjoyment,” Grampians Winemakers president Leigh Clarnette said.

“We are looking forward to highlighting the depth and diversity of the wines produced in the Grampians and Pyrenees regions, as well as the opportunity for guests to meet and learn from the winemakers, all within a relaxed and warm atmosphere.”

Tickets are now available online for $35 per person, which includes entry, a souvenir glass and six-bottle cloth bag. Tickets will also be available at the door for $40 per person.

Please note, this event is restricted to guests 18 years and older.
