Kryal Castle to lower its drawbridge on 27 June

Another Ballarat tourist attraction has announced a reopening date, with Kryal Castle to resume operations on Saturday 27 June.

During the Victorian school holidays (27 June – 12 July), the venue will be open daily between 10am and 4pm.

From 18 July until 13 September, Kryal Castle will be open weekends between 10am and 4pm.

Tickets will need to be pre-purchased online to ensure visitor numbers are not exceeded and to avoid disappointment at the gate.

The safety and wellbeing of guests and team members will remain the utmost priority, with some changes to the attraction's operation to ensure everyone’s safety.

“We’re thrilled to be able to open in time for the school holidays – it’s a great boost for our hardworking team and for the Moorabool and Ballarat region," Kryal Castle general manager Melissa Dimond said.

"Our team have been working hard to ensure a new and exciting program for all.”

Visitors can top off their Kryal Castle experience by staying in one of the 22 on-site castle suites.
