Celebrity guests dirtgirl, Costa Georgiadis and Paul West will be huge drawcards at this year’s Ballarat Begonia Festival.
Paul West is the former host of hit SBS series River Cottage Australia. A passionate advocate of real food, community, regional living and sustainable agriculture, Paul has quickly become the poster boy for sustainable farming and organic food.
As the star of ABC’s dirtgirlworld and Get Grubby TV , the gumboot-wearing, planet-loving dirtgirl loves to sing and dance almost as much as she loves getting grubby. Join dirtgirl at the Begonia Festival for a sing-along stage performance on Saturday, get up close and personal during a meet and greet on Sunday, or get grubby with Costa the Gnome and dirtgirl during the Get Grubby Bucket Workshop on Monday.
Popular television personality Costa Georgiadis is returning to the 2019 festival for one day only — Monday, March 11. Join Costa live on the Begonia Stage with the Grampians Central West Waste and Resource Recovery Group for a chat about his all-consuming passion for plants and people.
The Ballarat Begonia Festival will be held at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens on the Labour Day long weekend (March 9-11).
