Outdoor pools 

The Eureka Aquatic Centre (103 Stawell Street South, Ballarat) attracts thousands of pool-goers each summer. It features a heated 50m pool, a learn to swim pool, shaded toddlers’ pool, outdoor water play facilities, playground, kiosk and barbecue facilities.

The Black Hill Aquatic Centre (Chisholm Street, Black Hill) is home to a solar heated 25m outdoor pool, toddlers’ pool, diving board, BBQ and picnic facilities. Note, the pool is closed on days below 23 degrees.

Indoor pool 

The Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre (Gillies Street North, Ballarat) is home to a 50m pool, 25m pool, learn to swim pool, multi-purpose pool, and steam and spa facilities.

Saturdays 6am-6pm 
Sundays 8am-6pm 
Public holidays 1pm-6pm (Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday)

Sebastopol Water Play Facility
Outdoor water play facilities 

The Midlands Aquatic Play Space (Midlands Reserve, Doveton Street North, Ballarat) and the Sebastopol Aquatic Play Space (Victory Park, Vickers Street, Sebastopol) are open 9am-9pm daily between November and April (closed Christmas Day). The free facilities use button-operated systems which are operational for 15-minute periods during these hours. Each site also features a BBQ, shaded area, public toilets and playground. Note, pool admission needs to be paid to access the water play facility at the Eureka Aquatic Centre
