A-League football is back in Ballarat for the third and final time this 2020/21 season, with Western United going into battle against Sydney FC this weekend.
The Western United home game will be held on Saturday 15 May at Mars Stadium at 2.35pm.
“It’s always a fantastic atmosphere when we go to Ballarat. The fans there really get behind us and create a lot of noise in the stands,” Western United CEO Chris Pehlivanis said.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the reigning champions Sydney FC to what should be a great game in the lead-up to finals.”
Fans will have the opportunity to see the A-League’s best in Western United midfielder Alessandro Diamanti, while two-time reigning champions Sydney FC will welcome back forward Adam Le Fondre.
This will be Western United’s third game in Ballarat this season, having played Macarthur FC at Mars Stadium on 20 February and Western Sydney Wanderers on 7 March.
