From 24 June until 17 July, Winter Wonderlights will transform Sovereign Hill’s iconic streetscapes and goldfields into a wonderland of sound, lights and wintry delights.
Think falling snow, blazing fires, delicious food, warming drinks, hands-on activities, live music and interactive theatre shows.
So gather your family and friends and ignite your senses at Sovereign Hill‘s annual winter spectacular, part of the Ballarat Winter Festival.
Witness a kaleidoscope of colour and music as vibrant projections shine across Sovereign Hill’s iconic street settings.
Watch as Main Street is decorated in daily dustings of white faux snow.

On Friday 15 July from 8pm, grab a drink and be enchanted by the lights while listening to live music in this late night wonderland event.
Cosy up inside the New York Bakery for a warming two-course meal featuring traditional and contemporary dishes.
Be transported back to a typical night on the diggings complete with roaring fires, sing-a-longs, police raids and evening sounds.
Snap a photo with St Nick inside his traditional winter hut to celebrate Christmas in July.
Little ones can get creative as they craft keepsake artworks to take home.
Enjoy free nightly performances from Blackbeard the Pirate and Sovereign Hill’s own in-house band, The Welcome Strangers, as well as classic Christmas carols played by a good old-fashioned brass ensemble.
Winter Wonderlights runs from Friday 24 June until Sunday 17 July, with Sovereign Hill open from 10am–7pm daily (snow and light shows from 5pm).
Tickets are adult $58.20, child $29, and family of six $146.40 (2 adults, 4 children).
