Mellee Cottage is a modern two bedroom cottage in a quiet semi-rural setting. Wake up to the sounds of kookaburras nearby.

There is a spacious living dining area and a good sized open plan kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking appliances that you expect and more. There is a slow cooker so you can pop your meal on early in the day and then sit back and relax with a glass of wine or coffee. Decant your favourite red wine using the supplied wine decanter and fine wine glasses. Sip your champagne from crystal flutes or enjoy a cheese platter on one of our slate or wooden cheese boards. The kitchen has been setup with everything that you could need to enjoy your holiday escape, and not just the bear essentials. Even fine tea cups and saucers if you’re having a high tea kind of weekend. No holiday accommodation is complete without the coffee. Your very own Nespresso machine awaits.

Both bedrooms have queen size beds. A suspended black pendant completes the look in the master bedroom. It has its own sliding door access to the rear balcony.

The spacious lounge has a wall-mounted 65” television ready for enjoyment. There is a small outdoor table and chairs, perfect for those warmer afternoons to have drinks on the balcony.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities.

These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years.

As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
