Visit Ballarat is the peak tourism body for the Ballarat region. A member-based, not-for-profit tourism investment business, it is governed by an industry-appointed, skills-based board of directors.

Visit Ballarat’s primary role is the proactive positioning of Ballarat as a leading tourism destination. It also facilitates product and industry development in a bid to foster exceptional visitor experiences.

With more than 300 members from a range of sectors, the organisation receives its support from the City of Ballarat, membership fees, state government funding, key stakeholders, commercial partners and co-operative marketing.
