Visitor Information Centre

The Ballarat Visitor Information Centre is located in the historic Ballarat Town Hall in the heart of the CBD.

It’s your one-stop shop for information when you arrive in Ballarat. Get the best local knowledge from the locals themselves, such as advice on attractions, accommodation, eateries and itineraries.

Visitor facilities include free visitor parking, public internet access, free Wi-Fi, mobile phone charging points, and an accessible unisex toilet with adult and baby change facility. Caravan and long vehicle parking is available in Bath Lane behind the Town Hall.

While you’re at the centre, purchase a Ballarat Pass and enjoy discounted entry at the city’s iconic tourist attractions. Choose from the two-attraction pass (Sovereign Hill and Ballarat Wildlife Park) or the four-attraction pass (Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife Park, Kryal Castle and Eureka Centre).

Volunteers welcomed

We are currently expanding our Visitor Information Centre service team and are searching for volunteers to join us. If you love Ballarat, have a background in customer service, and are keen to share your knowledge, then we would love to hear from you!
